Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the synostudios.com website (the "Site") and our mobile applications, including Run Wars and Caddy Go (together, the "Apps"), operated by Syno Labs LLC, doing business as Syno Studios ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Site or an App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
1. Use of the Apps
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Apps on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Apps, except to the extent the law permits despite this restriction.
2. Accounts
Some features may require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
3. Health, fitness, and safety
Run Wars and Caddy Go involve physical activity outdoors. They provide gameplay and informational features only — they are not medical devices and do not provide medical advice. Consult a physician before starting an exercise program, stay aware of your surroundings, obey traffic laws and course rules, and never let a screen come before your safety. You use the Apps at your own risk.
4. Location and GPS accuracy
Features that rely on GPS (such as route recording, territory, and course yardages) depend on your device, environment, and third-party map and course data, and may be inaccurate or unavailable. Distances and suggestions are estimates, not guarantees.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Apps to harass, stalk, or harm others, or to infer or expose anyone else's location.
- Do not cheat, spoof GPS, or otherwise manipulate gameplay or leaderboards.
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the services, or access them by automated means except as we allow.
- Do not use the Site or Apps in violation of applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit in an App (such as a display name or shared activity). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the features you use. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Site and Apps, including their design, graphics, and code, are owned by Syno Labs LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. "Syno Studios", "Run Wars", and "Caddy Go" and their logos are trademarks of Syno Labs LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to use them without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND APPS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR ACCURATE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYNO LABS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR APPS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FIFTY US DOLLARS (US$50) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Changes to the services and these Terms
We may change or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms; if we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms here with a new effective date, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Syno Labs LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
